The service is great, but a little slower than advertised; I have yet
to see anything greater than 20 kbytes per second.  I love the 
continuous connection, and the much greater speed than a dial-up connection.
The @Home content is kind of interesting, too.  I find the pricing very
reasonable, especially as it includes the ISP.  I'm one of those people that
has multiple phone lines, and between stopping the ISP and disconnecting the
extra line, I actually save money!  This was a no-brainer as soon as the 
service was available.

I must also comment that the installation process was a DISASTER.  The cable
modem itself was fine, but the installation of the NIC was awful.  After 3
hours the technician had to leave, but my computer was only booting into safe 
mode.

The contract that @Home asks you to sign is also ludicrous.  No, "outrageous"
is a better word.  It absolves @Home of any liability in the installation,
except for "gross negligence".  Worse, it says you agree that you have
received, understood, and agree to other documents which were not available.
This is completely unacceptable, and must be changed (in my opinion) for the
service to be successful.

All-in-all, I am very pleased.  I even just got a new computer to take 
better advantage of the faster service!
