I ordered cable modem because the company
sent me a notification that it was available. The Cable Guy came and
installed a new line from the ouside post.
After the installation was over, the modem cable signal was blinking and
then shut off and its been doing it over and over. I called the company and
then came the software guy. He installed the 10 baseT and all the software
assigned and email and password.Ok He left and I thought that after that
next day I was going to have a live connection. The modem is still doing
the same thing, sometimes the cable light blinks repeated times and the
shuts off. It has been four days and I still dont have the service, but it
seems to me that they have not activated the service, but why dont they
tell this to the customer. The battle of DSL and Cable Modems? Who gets
more customers? This is whats going on now. The customer is the one who
gets hurt.
