I signed a contract with time warner
saying I wouldn't discuse the performance with any one. So I shouldn't be
writing this. But I have to say this cable modem is awsome !! I don't get
the speed I was promised ( a little below )But to any one wanting a cable
modem GET ONE ! I love downloading 40 MB files in under 3 minutes, Also
always being online is great. The only slow down I notice is when the
server at the other end is slow which is not time warners fault. Plus the
install was free and it is free of monthly charges till they launch it to
the public. So any one reading this call your cable co. and ask if they are
going to be offering on line service any time soon. If so they are probably
looking for beta testers so ask about it. It is a great way to get the
cable modem instaled for free and free for a few month's . If not it is
well worth the money
