Responsible for communicating and managing the deployment of the @HOME services in existing and new markets. Worked side by side with General Managers to prepare systems for new product deployment. Review budgets and provide guidance for system implementation of resource and material acquisition. Coordinate single installer, dispatch and warehouse training for each market to ensure all functional groups are adequately prepared for launch of new technology. Establish/maintain vendor relationships and contracts for single installer installation of cable modem and software. Manage contract labor/billing for quota overflow due to marketing initiatives. Complete System Readiness Testing (SRT) and oversee Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) to verify cable modem provisioning works in conjunction with system data/billing system and successful network connectivity is achieved prior to launch.

Accomplishments:
  • Responsible for the successful launch of the @Home service to
    various TCI cable systems in the Bay Area.
  • Established a professional relationship with various suppliers,
    contractors and local system management.
  • Initiated single installer SWAT team for the Western Division.

    single installer M&P's.
  • Successfully launched over 14 systems nationwide, passing

    Duties included: Manage a crew of 6 installers responsible for installation and activation of distribution systems for Cox Communications at the Motel 6, Bradford Court and Stillwater House. Audit existing cable plant in the city of Warwick, RI

    Duties included: Interviewing, hiring and supervising 20 installer/service technicians. Conducting new hire orientations. Training technicians in product knowledge and signal processing/loss, ladder handling techniques and safety procedures. Scheduling new Technicians for OJT and track progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Ensure all OSHA and NEC standards are followed. Monitor, track and coordinate signal leakage/repairs. Responsibilities included tracking performance standards, administering disciplinary action when warranted. Providing BI-annual performance reviews and annual increase reviews for 20 technicians.

    Accomplishments:
  • Developed and implemented a trap project, using color-coded
    traps, utilizing four Technicians to complete 1,500 trap
    installations in two weeks.
  • Implemented a time frame for installation/service call program
    that improved productivity from 80% to 95%.

    quality, safety and customer service.
  • Participated in development of an improved employee review
    process.
