About Company
Company is engaged in the production of all types of paving stones, solid and hollow blocks. This factory is equipped with the most advanced and sophisticated automatic German machines (MASA), producing highest quality with most accurate precision. Capacity output of the plant is average 220 cycles per hour.

Nature of Work
Working as a production cum maintenance engineer in this fully computerised plant. All movements are controlled by PLC through hydraulic systems and Electrical Motors.

  • Assisting Germans in erection and installation of the plant at the initial stage.
  • Looking after the production in one shift.
  • Doing the maintenance of the factory.
  • Managing a team of employees in one shift.
  • To ensure that high quality products are produced to meet the U.A.E. and International standards.
  • Preparing the records for ISO 9002 (the quality of the products).

    Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd. Is engaged in building a "Cable Super Highway" across the State of Kerala with 550 Mhz, 65 Channel capacity and interactive T.V. and pay-per view T.V. It is using cables, actives and passives fully imported from the leading manufactures in the international cable T.V. market. The main suppliers from U.S.A. are Comm. Scope. Jerold, Gilbert Engineering of general instruments corporation. Time, fiber comm. Inc., Scientific-Atlanta inc., C-C or electronics inc., Tripled Crown Electronics inc., California-Amps and Gardiner Comm. Inc., Others are Pace of U.K., P.X., Unika and Vortec of Taiwan.

    Nature of Work
    Managing a team of 30 employees comprising of 3 engineers, 10 supervisors and 17 technicians for the installation and maintenance of the cable net work. The installation work includes:-
  • Servicing of low voltage equipments.
  • Selection and installation of head-end and hub-stations.
  • Initial survey of each areas as per the design maps.
  • Laying of cables.
  • Fixing actives and passives.
  • Installation of line-ups and powering the net work.
  • Balancing the amplifiers.
  • Giving drop connection.
  • Make sure that the best clarify signals reach every T.V. set 24 hrs uninterrupted.
  • Tracing the network for shorts, opens, ingress, egress etc.
  • Preventive maintenance including frequency sweeping the network and monitoring parameters like C/N ratio, carrier to
    cross modulation, composite triple beat and hum modulation using spectrum analyzers at the end points of the net work.
  • Liaison with Kerala state Electricity Board, PWD, Corporation, Municipality, Panchayat, Telecom Dept. and Traded Union
    Authorities.

    March 1992-Feb. 1995 ALFA TEK KERALA, INDIA.

    Nature of work
    Making initial survey of feasibility and viability of the project and installation of C.A.T.V. and M.A.T.V. systems under the technical help of a team of five persons for giving connections to about 150 houses with 12 Km length cable and maintenance of the net work.
