Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating & maintaining the VSAT HUB, organizing resources and configuration requirements, troubleshooting and diagnosis at the HUB and optimizing network performance.
Installation & commissioning of Base band and IF equipment for the TDM/TDMA based ISBN VSAT network for the VSAT hubs installed by HECL and HNS in INDIA.
Analyzing satellite communication networks for data flow, access method, and information processing methods.
Working closely with the program manager and customer networking staff and manage vendors of networking products through all phases of project.
Corrective maintenance actions to mitigate and alleviate system faults and enhance overall performance.
Responsible for Installation & Administration of Network Management System (N.M.S.).
Configuring the Remote systems & modifying the Network Management System (N.M.S.) configuration.
Periodically evaluating the bandwidth needs of customers and providing solutions for effective bandwidth utilization.
Testing of Network Hub (Control Center) component. Different protocol supported by Hub modules including TCP/IP, X.25, Xpad, SLIP, PPP, SDLC, LLC have been tested and performance has been evaluated.
