Present Assignment:

Working as an Electronics and Communication Research and Development Consultant at Worldlink Electronics Corporation, specializing Interactive Broadband Communications for commercial and military application. The company is inline into system integration, manufacturing and assembly of electronics, communication and CATV products. Company's previous name is Vetronics.

Responsible of developing future systems for the quite coming new era in wireless telecommunication, the Micro-Cellular network. Utilizing radio encryption terminal or multiplex batch transmission and outlining the use of spectrum up to and beyond 40 Ghz. which will be establishing a digital wireless customers access networks (CANs) based upon HFCs/Infomation superhighway. Also developing cost effective systems for interactive broadband communications over CATV, MMDS, LMDS and other existing telecom infrastructures.

Designing and developing new features on the centralize addressable tactical radio trunking system for the Arm Forces like a built-in GPS, DSS, Military grade scramblers, data capability and other security features.

Developing new design and circuitry for the company's production line in CATV (semi-knock down and complete knock down units); Satellite receivers, converters, modulators, combiners, satellite dish, trunk amplifiers, power supplies, the assembly of Racal handheld radio PRM 4720 B2, HF, VHF and UHF transceivers for export and local market.

Responsible for the architectural design on setting-up the satellite communication network for the Arm Forces and the installation of the Central Command Control System.

Also working as Operation Engineer of Marjeds Electronics, Communication Systems and Services since 1994. Responsible of planning, designing, install and maintain AM, FM, TV broadcast stations, CATV networks and MMDS. Also the system insertion of internet access, IP telephony, video conferencing and data networking.


Previous employment:

Connected with Electrotech Corp. from 1991 to 1994 and work as RF Engineer while continuing a degree in Electronics and Communication. Engage in the design of modulators, exiters, multiplexers, RF power amplifiers for broadcast and broadband RF equipments. With familiarity in the different RF devices from Motorola, Philips and etc.. and locally assembled AM, FM, TV transmitters, HF, VHF, UHF communication equipment and baseband multiplex telephone link.

As part of innovations into RF works, I engage in the fabrication and supply a locally assembled telephone bugs, room bugs, snooping devices, wireless micro-cameras, scanners and other electronics surveillance and countersurveillance gadget and was trained as a surveillance specialist under a classified service.


Carrier Highlights:

  • Constructed and supervised over 20 CATV networks.
  • Installed and supervised 7 commercial broadcast stations and 15 educational broadcast stations.
  • Set-up and installed the MMDS test run equipment in Central Luzon for Phil. regulatory approval.
  • Involved in patenting a system design for computerized remote electrical billing system.
  • Developed new version of Digital Spread Spectrum Circuitry for military communications security application.
  • Designed and produced surveillance equipments supplied for classified community .
  • Developed a low cost circuitry of FM transmitter for micro broadcasters and CATV using BA1404 chip for production.
  • Designed and developed a low cost high quality FM broadcast stereo exciter for professional broadcasters and approved by the Spectrum Regulatory.
  • Developed a low cost high quality solid states RF broadband amplifiers for broadcast and communication using MRF151G, MRF141G Motorola RF devices for production.
  • Developed new circuitry on ATV transmitters and professional TV broadcast transmitters.
  • Designed and developed circuitry on CATV modulators, RF combiners, system converters, trunk amplifiers using motorola's MHW, CA, MHL modules for production.


    Projects on Progress:

  • TRX simulator which is capable of transmitting and receiving signal simultaneusly at the same frequency carrier, using high speed digital switching.
  • Low cost multi-channel Transmitter using MPEG Digital compression capable of carrying multi-channel programs using one frequency carrier for CATV and MMDS.
